A Brief Summary of the Ojai Mayoral Scandal

A heated exchange erupted at the beginning of the meeting between Ojai Councilmember Leslie Rule (District 1) and Ojai City Attorney Matthew Summers when Rule attempted to read from a Jan. 24 letter, presented by private attorney Jon Drucker, to Summers, the other councilmembers and members of the public, including the Ojai Valley News, just prior to the Jan. 24 Ojai City Council meeting.

The letter (attached with this article) is signed by Jon Drucker, on behalf of Rule. The Ojai Valley News has redacted statements made in the letter about a private citizen.
